Fixed monthly fee

Instead, we charge a monthly licence fee in return for the use of our trading style, logo and the other benefits outlined above. National and local presence

Our national and local websites are already generating enquiries in many of the available territories. This combination of a local and national presence ensures that even a new business can get off to a running start. 0845 Numbers

Our programme is designed to be flexible enough to balance your needs and wishes within your budget. The call centre is manned from 9.00am to 6.00pm weekdays. All enquiries will we processed on our bespoke tracking software 'CHET' and telephone messages sent via email.

Local website

All Licensees are provided with a 'local' Cars for Stars^® website. Using the previous example of Nottinghamshire, the website address is www.carsforstars-nottinghamshire.co.uk. Local websites have a generic feel to them, but can be customised to include the Licensees own vehicles, company name (the trading style will be Cars for Stars^®) and address. Through their site, the Licensee can offer limousines and wedding cars.

Exclusive territories

All Licensees will be provided with an exclusive territory for marketing their Cars for Stars^® business. Territories will typically follow a county format, but some Licensees will be provided with the rights to market to a major city or in the case of London, a geographical split. Licensees will be able to secure any hire where the collection address falls within their marketing territory. Some Yellow Pages regions do not necessarily follow a county format, therefore advertisements in the Yellow Pages would have to make clear the territory covered and all advertising with the Cars for Stars^® trading style will conform to a strict generic format. In addition, Licensees can apply to add 'Chauffeur Driven Car Hire' to the local services offered within their territory.

Advice and support

The Cars for Stars^® programme is a licensing arrangement rather than a franchise, so there are no 'business managers' or overpriced 'turnkey' packages on offer. That notwithstanding, Cars for Stars Limited will provide sources for specialist insurance (private hire and public liability), vehicle acquisitions, vehicle financing and so on. In some cases special terms are negotiated on behalf of our Licensees. In addition, a forum is available for informal advice on trading and operational issues. Our success is built on the success of our Licensees and as part of the team, we are keen to make sure that our Licensees avoid some of the obvious (and not so obvious) pitfalls of running a professional limousine hire business.

Central purchasing

The essential part of the value of a brand is consistency. Therefore, we have a central purchasing facility which allows the Licensees to purchase stationery, brochures and custom livery. For example, all limousines operated by Cars for Stars^® are required to have a discreet rear bumper sticker with the logo and main website address. Artwork for stationery will be held centrally and re-prints will be available on demand. As part of an ongoing support package, Cars for Stars Limited will be negotiating special rates with suppliers for the benefit of the Licensees.

Workplace templates

As an experienced limousine hire company, Cars for Stars Limited can provide workplace templates for the use of our Licensees. These are not meant to be all encompassing, but will provide an inexperienced limousine hire operator with a useful and common format for receiving enquiries, providing written quotations, 'acceptance of hire' documentation and essentials such as a set of personalised 'terms and conditions of hire' for your business. To ensure that our Licensees are all treated in a fair and on an equal basis, any advertisements utilising the Cars for Stars^® trading style or logo will have to follow strict guidelines. Cars for Stars^® do not impose a central fund for advertising, preferring to leave such matters to the local Licensee who we believe is better placed to determine how and where their advertising budget should be spent.
